BeeMonitor V2

Introducing a new version of the Bee Hive Monitor. We have added wireless transmission from the beehive down to the house. The data is displayed on an LCD display in the house and logged online.

The new web-connected system started monitoring on 25th March 2012

Technical Details

The monitoring system consists of an Arduino 8-bit microprocessor with 4 x waterproof digital temperature sensors and RF link and an Arduino + Ethernet Shield to post the data online to emoncms running on a remote server. A copy of the Arduino C++ code is on GitHub
